About
Skate Mind Project
At the Skate Mind Project, we bring together the skateboarding community to build resilience, tackle mental health challenges, and support one another. By training skaters in evidence-based community-led mental health strategies, we’re creating a culture of care, because when skaters look out for each other, everyone stands stronger.

PFA
Psychological First Aid
The Skate Mind Project offers trainings in Psychological First Aid, peer-to-peer mental health strategies, and working with coaches and skaters to serve as mental health ambassadors for youth.
Our goal is to introduce PFA to the skateboarding community, helping skaters navigate the mental challenges they face both on and off the board. By promoting emotional resilience and providing tools to manage stress, PFA aims to foster a supportive, mentally healthy skate environment.
The New School
Center for Global
Mental Health
The New School Center for Global Mental Health leads community mental health trainings throughout the world. We are grateful for this opportunity to partner with the skateboarding community to develop best practices for skaters to support one another and to reach those when they need help the most.
